We're building a product that keeps your mobile phone (and millions of others) safe from all sorts of nasty things: a product people want because it actually makes their lives easier.

What you'll be doing:
We're looking for a passionate systems/network engineer to keep our backend infrastructure healthy. You will be deploying, securing, optimizing, monitoring, and troubleshooting multiple clusters in a production environment supporting lots of users. You will be working with really robust/fast/pretty Sun boxes and open source software like Linux, Apache, Mongrel, MySQL, memcached, and friends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrate and monitor production web, database, and storage systems
- Deploy new servers and software releases
- Help scale our application
- Keep our systems secure by deploying ultra-paranoid security measures and continually performing security audits
- Guru-level expertise with Linux and Unix systems
- Strong understanding of how to secure servers and make sure they stay that way
- Strong experience working with databases (MySQL preferred)
- Scripting skills
- Steadfast defender of user privacy
Bonus Points:
- Experience scaling multi-tier web applications (Ruby on Rails experience a definite plus)
- Experience working with network services for mobile/wireless
- Experience building large-scale server applications
- Experience formalizing systems administration processes
- Programming skills (C, Ruby preferred)
