Sourcefire, Inc. is looking for a Project Lead to join our highly

talented and rapidly expanding team in our Headquarters in Columbia,

Maryland. The primary responsibilities of the Project Lead include the

following:

Oversee the requirements definition, planning, design, and

delivery of Sourcefire applications on partner platforms

Works with partners, test, product management, and

technical documentation to define project scope, including

deliverables, goals & objectives and resource requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills,

ability to convey advanced technical concepts effectively

Strong people skills, ability to work effectively with

Sourcefire internal teams and Sourcefire partners

Strong technical skills, first-hand knowledge and

experience with the software development life cycle

Exceptional organizational skills, ability to manage

multiple priorities in a fast-paced dynamic environment

Advanced problem solving skills, ability to develop

effective long-term solutions to complex problems

Ability to learn new skills and apply them quickly

Motivated team player with excellent communication skill

and a positive attitude

Qualifications

Familiar with Linux/Unix command line tools/shell scripting

Familiar with perl and advanced bash shell script

Familiar with Linux/Unix packaging tools like rpm and

slackware

Basic system administration skills in a Unix and windows

environment

Basic Networking knowledge

Desirable

Some C/C++ Development experience in a Unix environment

Experience with MySql or other database

BSCS, BSEE, or equivalent
